update

re-worked this painting, and in the process of re-working others in addition to starting some newbies. i'm much happier with how this looks. still having technical problems with my photo publishers desaturating my color. losing a lot of the intensity in the yellows and pinks in this painting, and many more subtle tones completely disappearing. guess you'll have to see them in person! also having problems with free photo publishers deleting my images, claiming i'm using them to publish pornography. at least this one isn't naked enough.

I'm Heather Dee Gentile (not to be confused with Heather Gentile-Collins). I received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007, where I majored in painting. I also studied Italian art history and painting in Umbria, Italy. I've previously exhibited my work at select locations and galleries in Chicago. Many pieces are currently for sale.
